Find out how information and communication technologies in combination with the fields of energy, health, mobility, security and production can promote new growth markets, in which Germany has the opportunity to take a top position within the international competition. Together with national and international experts we would like to discuss under which conditions Germany can master the technical, political and societal challenges closely related to that.
Politics are challenged to act rapidly – under joint participation of Science, Business and Society – in order to secure Germany the benefits of this enabling technology. Therefore politics needs to know the options for action – moreover as cyber-physical systems require an international perspective. The acatech study “Integrated Research Cyber-Physical-Systems” promoted by the Federal Ministry of Education & Research is an important milestone for that request.
