Profile
acatech - the NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING - represents the interests of the German scientific and technology communities, at home and abroad. As a working academy, acatech supports policy-makers and society by providing qualified technical evaluations and forward-looking recommendations.
Organisation
acatech is composed of three organs: the Executive Board, the General Assembly and the Senate.
Publications
acatech publishes project reports, statements and conference proceedings on technological themes that are relevant to society and the economy. The results are made available to policy-makers, science and industry, and society in general.
Work and results
acatech stages symposia, fora, podium discussions and workshops to foster the acceptance of science and technology. acatech also addresses the general public through studies, recommendations and position papers. Its work is organised through topic networks and project groups.
