Description

The objective of this topical network is to build a bridge between safety and security research. The first step is to bundle the different scientific concepts and diverse activities in a systematic process. In light of the growing significance of security in society, the topical network will ask interdisciplinary questions about civil security research and establish recommendations for action. The opening session of the acatech topical network on security and safety took place in June 2008. The topical network includes designated representatives from the security and safety sectors.
